Epilogue - The operation starts

Hello Blog readers. I know I am a few years late to the trend and I wish I could have known how cool it is to be a known person in the blogging person, but better late than never. I always wanted to be on the blogging platform and I have been struggling for a long time now as to what i should write about that would attract everyone’s attention.

I immediately discarded the idea of writing movie reviews since I don’t watch many movies. I am a person with very down to earth thoughts, I believe in savings and so, I prefer to wait for the 720P Blu-Ray version of 700MB for any given movie rather that spend 200 bucks on it. Hence, even if start a movie review blog, I would be late there.

I moved on to the thought of book reviews, but then again, I don’t believe myself to be so well read as to provide expert insight on the literary masterpieces. So I moved on.
Similarly, I abandoned the ideas of food blogs, technology, software and pretty much else. Then I thought, why do I want to do this?

I definitely don’t consider myself an expert at anything, and more importantly, I want to produce my thoughts on something that I love, rather than something that I love very well. Obviously, a blog on myself would make me a megalomaniac, so I had to find something  else that I love.

And I found the answer as well. The thing that has given me so many happy hours of binging on, without any expectations, TV shows. I know it’s a bit cliché, but I feel India has not yet achieved the level of finesse I find in foreign TV shows. One cannot obviously compare Downton Abbey with Kyu Ki… but then what can be done?

I decided to write on TV shows so that one day, someone reading my blog can know all there is to know about them and provide India with a better class of in home entertainment. It pains to see really redundant crap churn out on our screens every day.

So starting next week, all of you can expect a blog from my side on a TV show that I have watched and I promise to go through every aspect of the show in detail as possible.
